Okay.... no Peacemaker S3.... but he never said no to a Peacemaker & Vigilante movie.

I know he said the movies will be reserved for popular characters, but Peacemaker has now been built up to that kind of character thanks to this show, so I think it's plausible in the future.

You know what Peacemaker S2 is?.... it's the DCU's equivalent to Ant-Man and the Wasp.

It's vastly superior to that film, obviously. But it's similarly a whole not of nothing (in terms of plot) and just spending more time with characters went love while we set the stage for bigger things.

He did step away from the director's chair a lot on Creature Commandos and Peacemaker S2..... the problem is that he's writing too goddamn much.

He has a whole ass writer's room at DC Studios, he needs to start actually utilizing them so he can take needed breaks.

Most of the time in the comics, Peacemaker is just a jingoistic dickweed (much like his characterization in TSS), but the DCU has evolved that character so much now that I feel he actually could be on Superman's level.

Not because it's like some major, shocking revelation that will have fans hooting and hollering over a AAA supervillain (like what the MCU does).... but because it's absolutely nothing anyone would have thought of.

I will say.... I love PEACEMAKER S2, it's (mostly) excellent. It's truly just an exercise in character work and ruminating within the world it exists in. There's barely a plot.

But... the finale (as good as it is) does feel like the stress of Gunn doing shit back-to-back-to-back finally got to him.

Also, before anyone says anything: it makes complete sense..... Rick, even in CC, was an easily manipulated, insecure jackass that's overly emotional and breaks ethical boundaries.
