I love going to PAX U, but there really is nothing like your own bed, your own kitchen, your own family, and getting some massive hugs from your kid when you make it through the door.

We had such an amazing time playing the SCIRE mega game at #PAXUnplugged! Based on CBR+PNK and run by @mythworks.bsky.social, it was a massive ttrpg of 60+ players who had to try and survive, get transformed, forced to change teams, and tons of other surprises. Absolutely worth the experience.

Megagames are one of those special convention things. 60+ all playing the same game differently… It’s just awesome.

Anxiety’s been high lately for a bunch of reasons, but having some time with friends and a chance to play so many games has been wonderful.

If you get to the far corner of the #PAXUnplugged expo hall is @absurdistprod.bsky.social and they have an amazing board game called Winter Rabbit. Made by a Cherokee team and written in both Cherokee and English, it’s a semi-cooperative game of surviving winter!
