We’re still DRAMATICALLY understating how completely batshit-level unhinged this is.

Seriously. Imagine this happening in any other presidency.

You can’t, because it’s completely inconceivable that it could happen, or that it would be allowed.
This is what rock-bottom polling does to a man with a fragile ego.

As somebody situated in that exact cultural space at that time, this is *mind blowingly accurate.* The landscape is SO different, it feels like remembering a parallel universe.

If you have the Gmail "promotions" "social" tabs -- Google is training their AI by reading your e-mails.
Go to Settings and turn off Smart Features if you don't want them training their AI off of your e-mails. It'll get rid of tabs for some reason (I didn't like them anyway).

All the people and corporations cozying up to Trump are part of this. They own this.
The Trump administration has declared that swastikas and nooses are no longer classified as hate symbols.

Why…

DO PEOPLE NOT LIKE AI?!

“Anti-DEI” is 100% undeniably a racist movement, and should be treated accordingly.

It’s huge news that congress and the senate voted against Trump’s wishes.

He’s pretending that he “allowed” them to vote because he’s pathetic & the news is enabling his spin.

But Trump lost control of the Republicans for the first time. The news won’t say it but MAGA isnt in disarray & he is weak

The Republican “civil war” or divide or whatever you want to call it is interesting — because they never once were divided over anti-Native, anti-Black, anti-Asian racism. They were fine with that being the in the party.

Trickle Down Housing people using "Supply and Demand" rhetoric was always going to become anti-immigrant and xenophobic because that's where that rhetoric originated.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Every time someone speaks for equality BUT leaves out Natives…

Natives see it. We don’t often say anything. But we see it. We get the message that you might not even mean, but because you’re part of US society, you still do.

SCOOP: Schumer was more involved than reported with the attempted cave on the government shutdown. The Gang of 8 Senate Dems had his approval & he was getting daily updates.
In Thursday's caucus meeting, the Gang claimed they had 10 votes to cave. The caucus went nuts, leading to the new proposal.

Oh look, this person is making a great point about worsening inequality and bigotry. I’m gonna comment “Have you met America?” It doesn’t add to the conversation or make any statement on how to dismantle these structures, in fact, it undercuts the timeliness of the issue, but it makes me feel smart.

Umm, when rich dudes do this... it's creepy.

Investigate this.
Mark Zuckerberg's Palo Alto neighbors complained about noise, security guards, and hordes of traffic. An unlicensed school named after the Zuckerbergs’ pet chicken tipped them over the edge.

Besides not stopping Trump. The biggest mistake Democrats made was not doing anything about house affordability. It doesn't matter how good the economy was -- or will ever be -- if rent is 50% of someone's income... it will never feel good.
