As an ICU physician, I advise you to CHOOSE PROTECTION. I've seen too many bad cases.

I ask every kid I do a sport physical on if they use a helmet. Then I ask them where it is right now. (I tell them to park it on the handle bar). Then I ask about seatbelts, booze and condoms.

Please make sure you hire people who understand how respiratory pathogens are transmitted. I still find droplet dogma infecting a lot of health care workers.

A licensed professional can’t expect to keep their license when treating patients with harmful therapies. Sure, they can say what they want when not treating patients.

I’ve not read the bill but if they increase EV fees by weight of the vehicle maybe that will decrease EV bloat. Of course we need a clean air tax on internal combustion engines, that should get directed to pay for electric busses.

Yup. Novavax is at my local Krogers now. Excellent choice for people who don’t like mRNA shots. Flu is still pretty low now, since I mask I’ll wait a few more weeks to get it. We get hit with flu B in March.

Requiring masks is a good idea too. Most respiratory pathogens are airborne. I give HEPA filters at baby showers.

Yep. The idea that city/state government is going to “maintain the large, complex infrastructure needed to effectively respond to rare catastrophic events is nonsensical. Having a robust FEMA enables the ongoing maintenance of the needed disaster response infrastructure at a federal level.”
