I think the Rams were fooled by the Seahawks’ Kenneth Walker’s last name because he can actually run as well and maybe they weren’t prepared for that.

For further context, Mr. Mitnick was purged by the Trump admin in 2018 and replaced with Chad Mizelle, a Trump loyalist who came back in his second term in a very high-level role at DOJ (and has since left the admin). He's been a Never Trump Republican for a while now.

Beyond helping establish DHS itself in 2003, Mr. Mitnick was a senate-confirmed Trump choice for General Counsel for DHS in his first term. I've talked with him a few times, and he's not a man for hyperbole. So bear that in mind when you see him calling out DHS's "lawlessness, fascism, and cruelty."

Correct. It was never about “the government,” it was about right-wing white nationalist politics.

We have been told for nearly 30 years that America needed to tolerate mass shootings because the broad availability of guns would help us defend ourselves from an overreaching federal government. That day has come. The people who said this are supporting the federal agents. Many have joined them.

at some point we're gonna have to have a real conversation about why we're still paying federal taxes to a regime that isn't using them to help anyone, but instead is using them to brutalize us

The greatest road show in NBA history continues...

Since January 2022, the Celtics have won 70% of their road games...with a +7.6 margin.

The "gap year" Celtics are now 11-7 with a +6.0 margin.

Not Bird, not Russell, not Havlicek had a team that won by 6 points a game on the road.

It baffles me that these transactions continue to be called "donations" when there's no Trump campaign being funded, and no legal path forward for another Trump presidential campaign.

They're bribes. Why aren't we all just calling them bribes?
