Marta has been playing 10 years younger and acting like a weight lifted off her shoulders. She says she's no longer playing club just to get to the national team. She also says this #NWSL Championship is the most important game of her storied career. Her mom will be in the U.S. for the first time.

I don’t have a strong preference as the Thorns aren’t in this, but I do love that this #NWSL championship is such a good example of why this league is so compelling.

There’s this thought I keep having about the backlash to the public health response tot he pandemic. How people found it infringed on their freedoms to wear masks, get vaccines, etc. And the dark feeling I have is I have no idea what better alternative there was.
