Sometimes my ADD leads to sort of obsessive fixation on a repeated activity and I now have an unhealthy amount of level 80s in World of Warcraft.
It's the repeating nature of the pre-expansion event, now that it's opened up to alts. Makes my brain stupid.

If you are watching the opening ceremony on NBC, you won't hear the boos of JD Vance because NBC cut it. Corporations working to keep Americans in the dark about how unpopular their elected officials are. The White House reposted the censored clip.

1. deregulate everything and destroy all regulators so nothing functions in the public interest under the pretense this "aids innovation" and "empowers entrepreneurs"

2. blame poor people and minorities when nothing works
Nashville is furious about power outages. Republicans say ‘woke’ is to blame.
As Nashville’s utility company struggled to recover from a catastrophic ice storm and its Democratic mayor ordered a review, some conservatives attacked diversity training.

Huh, the most wholesome twitch stream is also now on YouTube (and has depressingly few viewers at the moment). If you want a chill stream of a guy making wool felt dolls and occasionally singing, here you go.

the $75 million Jeff Bezos set on fire for that Melania propaganda piece could have funded most independent newsrooms for literally decades
always bears repeating that this is NOT a financial decision. jeff bezos is worth over 250 billion dollars. he can afford to lose many millions and never even notice it. this is, at its core, a political and personal decision by bezos to destroy the post
WASHINGTON (AP) — Washington Post says one-third of its staff across all departments, not just the newsroom, is being laid off.

I wish "not a fan" didn't come to mean "do not like". So many situations, like with bands or singers, were I feel like I should be able to say I'm not a fan without people assuming I don't like their music. Plenty of stuff I like that I'm not a "fan" of.
