This is a pretty involved testing save but we're already hitting nearly 6 hours runtime at just past the halfway point of the game. And I haven't even spent that much time in the Casino.

Finding a lot of small last minute bugs and inconsistencies in testing. Hopefully I can resolve them all before chapter 3's intended release.

Last year Daisuke Amaya (the creator of Cave Story) began drawing a really cute web comic series about a cat girl artist trying to find love. It's called Ame Choco Gamila and can be read on Daisuke’s website in JP and English. Highly recommend giving it a read!

Getting bodied by mid tier enemies in the early game, only to show up again later and blast them with an amulet you made that shoots nukes is one of the best "Okay NOW I get it" moments the game can offer.

Like Dota, to truly enjoy this game you have to WANT IT. It's an acquired taste but once you learn the game's more dated elements and more hardcore RPG systems, it becomes a very rewarding experience. It's consistently interesting in ways more contemporary RPGs are too afraid to be.

My home town of Halifax was one of the leading pioneers of Television flash animators, My college instructors were some of the first people to use flash specifically for television at the dawn of the digital animation age. THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TABLETS FOR THE FIRST YEAR THEY ANIMATED WITH THE MOUSE
