Too many of us believe this is something distant we are exempt from. But best believe, the second it becomes politically advantageous to harm you, they will do it.

Healthcare is a basic human right

Housing is a basic human right

Education is a basic human right

Food, clean air and water are basic human rights

A universal basic income would ensure everyone has their most basic needs met

I struggle with the word “radical” in American political discourse.

There is nothing radical about wanting everyone to have food & shelter.

There is nothing radical about wanting everyone to have healthcare that isn’t handcuffed to capitalism.

These are the most rational & normal things to want.

It’s important to remember cisgender women getting hurt by this is a feature not a bug as it both makes trans women fearful of existing in public and signals to cis women how they must act to be protected by the state.
