I had to give up my anti-anxiety meds for a short time. I can not deal with current events without the meds so I have avoided bluesky and the news. When the meds kick in again, I will come back and follow back my new followers.

The corn is all in the freezer. We took a couple of days off. Now we are making fried squash. Tried 2 different recipes and methods yesterday and agreed on which one was best. Sure is good. Best we ever made.Hope the squash keep producing. We need to take a day and make some dill pickles.

Some of corn crop is ready. It is the sweetest corn I have ever eaten.Been preparing it to put in the freezer. Today Larry picked twice what we have been doing each day, which is plenty of work. He went to get that much more so we will have plenty to do while it is raining this weekend.

Deeply depressed today, with the budget bill passing and the SCOTUS South Sudan ruling. I don't want to be a doomer, & I don't want to be a flee-er, but it's really hard to see hopeful paths for this country when such a vast portion of our public servants have chosen to serve anyone but the public.

We got 170 pounds of potatoes today. Running out of space to put them. Still have one more row of red potatoes and 3 rows of white potatoes. My whole body aches. I am sure it must be nap time.

I think my next door neighbors might be an “imminent threat”. Based on the way rump handles "imminent threats" I am going to have to think abt how to deal with that.(sarcasm)
