It’s Banned Books Week. I think the Diary of Anne Frank is one of the most profound and important books of our time. Also one of the most banned books in America. Not because of the distressing content. She wrote a few paragraphs about crushes on girls and starting her periods.

But this is completely false - and the videos also feature fake audio of the PM.

I'm looking for the new Holyrood boundary maps, specifically Edinburgh Central's. I've found a version, but not sure if it's the final one and AI is talking mince.

#FullFact real-time Government Tracker updated today.
It now shows Labour delivered (or are on track to deliver) 57 of 83 Election pledges.
This is an extraordinary achievement in just 15 months in power.
The Tories managed just 3 (one partially) in 5yrs

This is devastating but hard to think of more important journalism. 18,457 children have been killed in Gaza (many more not accounted for). Here, The Guardian prints their names and beautiful faces and tells us what they were like before Israel stole their lives. www.theguardian.com/world/ng-int...

Found a load of non-barcoded special and Christmas stamps. The Royal Mail website appears to say they're still good to go. Has anyone tried them recently?

Gorgeous! I was looking again this morning and I'm in love with this fireplace and the staircase.

Terrible photo but...
A few days ago I thought it had started raining. Instead, it was some hyperactive tits tapping on the window frame. They've been doing it every day since. It's very sweet, and I'd let them in in a heartbeat!

I'd never seen an episode of West Wing till about a month ago when I was stuck for something to watch. Now got as far as series 3 and spending the whole time comparing and contrasting with what I guess is going on in there these days.

Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.

After a few days, I received one of the most bizarre phone calls I’ve ever had, asking “So when are you coming to pick up your owl?” 🧵

What an admirably clear statement from the Jewish Leadership Council, especially when all of those involved must surely have been dealing with so many other urgent challenges in safety, security and grief + shock today before having this further divisive and distracting intervention to address too.

Russian cruise missiles currently heading towards the large "Kyiv Sea," North of Kyiv. If the dam was to break, the flooding would be catastrophic followed by a potential radioactive cloud for all of Europe (contaminated dust from Chernobyl is at its bottom).

Viral social media posts have claimed that Multiverse, a company founded by the son of former Labour PM Sir Tony Blair, has been chosen to run the new digital ID scheme.

This isn’t true, according to both the company and the government.
