Unrelatedly, I remain just a bit say that we never went in for calling them RAT tests in this country. LFT is so dull.
Patient came in with sore throat. While waiting for rapid Strep test result we glanced back at the Covid-19 RAT result: positive. Reminder that masking in health care makes sense, if you don’t want everyone in your waiting room to go home sick, your staff to get sick, and physicians to get sick.

They treat nature like it has no voice.

But it does. Yours, ours, and millions more.

If you believe nature deserves better than this, make sure your MP hears it loud and clear:

Tell the UK Government they must do better for nature!
I've just emailed my MP to tell them what nature means to me and that I want it to stay protected. Will you take action too?

And if you have to do QE, you give it to ordinary people to pay off their debt rather than feeding it into the ravenous maw of the financial system; that’s better all round, in the end.

My sneaky dog just grumbled as if there was someone at the door (I’m expecting post so I went-there wasn’t) then made a false accusation of her water being empty (shoves the bowl with her nose) because she was conspiring to get me to offer her a treat.
Which I did, right? Cleverness needs rewarding.

Farage cited Enoch Powell as his political hero in an interview in Total Politics magazine in 2008.

In 2014 he cited Vladimir Putin as the world leader he most admired.

That Enoch Powell fandom is really telling. I'm surprised that's not the story actually because it's firmly on the record.

At some point Farage stopped talking about Powell - presumably because it became politically inconvenient to do so. No evidence of some Damascean conversion to reality.

If multiple people can remember someone being horribly racist, even by the appalling low bar of the racist 1970s, that is entirely noteworthy.

As an adult Farage fanboyed Enoch Powell - the most infamous racist of the 1960s - and long cited him as his political hero.

And that's noteworthy too.
