1/2 A magical sunset in the Corvedale, seen from Brown Clee. I was standing on the ramparts of Nordy Bank hill fort for this shot, looking out across the misty landscape towards the Brecon Beacons - now known as Bannau Brycheiniog - on the horizon. #Shropshire

I got a copy of the Will of my 3x great-grandfather before the price went up from £1.50 to £16 and now I have more questions than answers! What property did he have on Pontesbury Hill and what other hereditaments?! 🤔 He lived at Bomere Farm near Condover for many years. #genealogy #Shropshire

1/2 Which path to take - the #Shropshire Way, the Jack Mytton Way or the Lea Quarry Walk? Or how about the Shrewsbury Ramblers Walk? I’ve spent a lot of time on Wenlock Edge this year and it’s been great to explore a place I didn’t know very well.

Hands up if you think this is one of the best views in Shropshire! I’ve photographed Ludlow from Whitcliffe Common more times than I can remember, and I never get bored. It looks fantastic whatever the season, but the autumn colours this year make it extra special. #Shropshire
