This is interesting. One of the suggestions for countering AI-produced assignments is oral exams. This is what we do in my subject in Italy and it certainly leaves the student no place to hide.

This sounds totally discriminatory to me and, sadly, given where this originates, discrimination would not surprise me at all. Does it not occur to these people that a) it’s not their business whether someone is pt or ft and b) not everyone has a choice?
