It has to be pointed out again. Even local bird reports next door to #ireland are superior to anything that appears for the whole island...if it appears at all. Why can't we have nice things? #irishrarebirds

After a 5 day no-show I was chuffed to bits to successfully root this little smasher out of the c20 km of coastline it's been frequenting since October. Initially bobbing about in the surf it swam in to the stream mouth for a good preen before flying off west. #HarlequinDuck #Donegal #IrishBirding
