Very sad to hear of the shocking death of Rob Reiner, genuinely one of the greatest, most underrated film directors. The run of films he made from Spinal Tap to A Few Good Men is *incredible*
RIP Rob Reiner, the most delightful director of my lifetime. No one has ever had a run better than his nine years from '84 to '92. How he used his voice as fascists overran America will be studied for a century. We are the better for him, and much worse for the loss of him and his wife Michele.

Hmm. Has Bluesky just started asking “What’s up?”, or have it always done that and I’ve only just noticed? 🤔

Either way someone should tell them that in British English that means “What’s wrong?”

I feel the urge to just reply “Nothing mate, I’m fine, why do you ask!” 😊

At this time of year, I like to quote Araucaria's amazing anagram...

"O hark the herald angels sing the boy's descent, which lifted up the world", which produces "WHILE SHEPHERDS WATCHED THEIR FLOCKS BY NIGHT/ALL SEATED IN THE GROUND"
