My bestest boy (Bernie the Beagle Bassett) had surgery today to remove 3lbs of tumors. I've been anxiety ridden for the last 24hrs. He's been home for 2hrs. He went outside to pee & I got him back in the house, he laid down. I told him he was a good boy and he thumped his tail. He's gonna be OK 🥹

10" of snow & lows around 2F are coming. Called a neighbor to get a small amount of firewood they didn't need & offered before. I have plenty of green wood, just not enough seasoned. He just brought down enough firewood to last me a month! Community looking out for each other is such a blessing 🥰

Well, I guess the only thing to do now is for Denmark to reclaim St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John (US Virgin Islands) as the Danish West Indian Islands.
