Streaks of sunlight on a curved woodland trail with tall trees of various yellow hues a small cemetery perched on a mossy embankment. Fallen leaves sat undisturbed, like a warm blanket. Ripples of sunlight illuminated the headstones. Some new, others a mere fragment. A lowly rusted wire fence was all that separated the living and the dead. 7 flat stones buried in the shadowed forest hill covered in dead leaves

I agree with this. My theory is the kids today are too aware the the real horrors of the external world & good 90s/00s emo music was very targeted towards interal frustrations. We need a better, more secure world so kids can record complaints about their parents & teachers & dating troubles again.
