finished SHf!!! it feels a bit early to mark this as finished, as the ending insists getting at least one additional ending to really satisfy. but i think the core of the game will be similar on repeat playthroughs which i plan to do

ok it looks like The Lunar Effect might not happen, i didnt know the demo has been out for 4 years and no signs of releasing anytime soon :(( thats just a reality for games sometimes its a lot if work just to release it. i enjoyed the demo quite a bit so thats a shame

FMF gives strong STARS vibes with their cast and even with the main two protags the Chris & Jill resemblance is strong. & Phase Zero feels like how i’m sure RE wouldve felt to me in the 90s, i think it captured its essence in gameplay so effortlessly

i tried out the demos for Flesh Made Fear, Phase Zero, and The Lunar Effect and ooooh my inner old school Resident Evil & Silent Hill fangirl is well fed! definitely will be purchasing when these games are fully out, FMF is out on Halloween so i’m looking forward to it!

thank you! yeah i was excited to revisit a ps1 classic i forgot how 1 mb storage is very limiting and i excessively save haha. i’m close to finishing sh1 so i’ll be updating this list quite soon :)

I can not stress enough the importance of going for all the endings if you wish to understand the story Silent Hill f is trying to tell. Each playthrough adds new dialogue, cutscenes, and documents which add more context to the story and character motivations.

update: i’m tempted to remove the finished on my chart for silent hill f - the new cutscenes and changes really do feel like a fresh playthrough vs other games where little changes on multiple runs. i’m quite close to finishing my 2nd run (and grabbed the ufo ending on the side)

but if they plan on supporting ps5 for a long time, i’ll just buy for ps5 instead. and i have other means like steam.

but yeah ps6 has very little appeal to me currently, idk where it could go in advancements. and if its all in on generative ai then my interest will decline even further

i have a ps4 & 5 i use regularly. i much favor my 4 but i do enjoy my 5, but not till this year have i used my 5 more since more games are skipping releasing on ps4.

why i bring this up - if sony goes a similar route where they take forever to release exclusively to 6, i’m skipping 6 too.
