My friend Kara, the one currently incarcerated at Carswell, has had her hormones cut yet again.

They haven't done labs or anything on her in weeks.

They've now reduced her to 3 mg a week for her HRT.

We are still desperately searching for legal counsel who will advocate for her. Please help.

Being in the tank this much for foreign nation who we give billions of dollars to annually should be disqualifying for higher office.
Senate Democratic Minority Leader Schumer’s decision not to endorse Zohran Mamdani in the NYC mayoral race “was driven in large part…by his self-conception as a guardian of Israel, something he considers a core part of his personal and political identity.”

Schumer brushed his teeth with lemon juice this morning.
Reporter: Today is election day in New York City. Did you vote for Mamdani or Cuomo?

Schumer: Look, I voted. And I look forward to working with the next mayor to help New York City.

I have been saying for years at this point that serious, revolutionary change won’t happen in the US at least until people are hungry enough. Enabling this program is the priority for an owner class with a functioning sense of self-preservation.
Given the events of *the entire history of humanity*, as a ruling power I would simply not let SNAP expire

I don’t ever want to hear that the trans community is too small to accommodate when SCOTUS will react in defense of the .03% of the population who wants to center their child’s education on exclusion.
1. 4 months ago, The Supreme Court gave families a right to opt out of LGBTQ+ education in schools.

Now, in Montgomery County, Maryland, where the case originated, the results are in.

Only 43 families out of 160,000 students have exercised that new right.

The idea that you’re nobody if you’re not “in the discourse” is the best thinking that comes out of legacy media columnists.
One of the biggest mistakes left-of-center pundits and influencers made was decamping to Bluesky. They made themselves irrelevant, shrunk their audiences, and dramatically lessened the positive impact they could have on our public debate at the precise time we needed it most.

1. Republicans are attempting to get the FBI to label trans advocacy as domestic terrorism.

Project 2025's parent org is pushing it.

It would not label all trans people as terrorists, but it would open the door for heavy surveillance and disruption.

Political violence is abhorrent. I have not celebrated Kirk's death.

But Newsom calling for his followers to "continue Charlie Kirk's work," someone who praised stoning gay people as "god's perfect law," who called for men to "take care of" trans people like they did in the 50s and 60s, is not it.

Hi, former Foreign Service Officer here

The Secretary of State might be interested to learn that visa requirements and terms are generally reciprocal. We do it to them, they do it to us.
The State Department is proposing requiring applicants for business and tourist visas to post a bond of up to $15,000 to enter the United States, a move that may make the process unaffordable for many.
