Of course I understand that generative AI is a tool used by the wealthy to undercut our creative labor. But the legality of it and the copyright violations are the least of my concerns.

Hot take perhaps, but the environmental impact of AI is far worse and more worrying than the plagiarism or copyright issues... and the conversation largely being focused on the latter is honestly frustrating.
