I was in the 4th row at last night’s queens of the Stone Age ACL taping and I’m very glad that when lead singer Josh homme flipped his cleaver in the air , while interacting w the crowd, he caught it cleanly on the down flip and it didn’t nick someone—though that would have been entertaining.

As a runner in Austin, it's depressing when you get through May, June, July, August, September, and October, thinking you've successfully navigated the murky swamp of humidity, and then you get a blast of November heat and it erases all your joy.

Best new dining experience in Austin: Rocco’s, a cozy Italian joint on Airport with The Rolling Stones coming through the speakers. I’m not gonna wreck the immaculate vibe by posting a photo. Because I didn’t take any. Because that’s how into it I was.
