The worst thing - professionally - about the AI craze is that it gives everyone in the industry an excuse to ignore the hard-earned lessons of how software engineering works and fails. The Mythical Man-Month comes to mind

12 hours in, Azure is incredibly high-friction. Obtuse security model (EntraID App, AD SP, Graph permissions... oh my), problematic availability (East US is nigh unusable), broken ecosystem with e.g. Terraform provider bugs...

Dear overzealous IT departments: stop dicking around with developer laptops. Your JAMF, DNS filters, antivirus software and machine enrollments don't do much beyond ruin our productivity.

I need to tap someone for expertise and am happy to pay for it. Specifically I'm looking for working experience integrating a C++ and Python (cmake+pybind11) with a proper local setup (Python project depending on bindings built from local repo). LLVM experience a bonus. Takers?
