While I've been absent from cam these past weeks, I've been working on my bike. My new engine + wiring arrived, and I've been repainting it on sparse sunny days. There's still some pieces to acquire before breaking it in + getting it registered, but it's been such satisfying solace to focus on 😊

I've gone to the hardware store every 2nd day the past week because I keep forgetting things. Until I remember I need log tongs and fireproof gloves because I've burned my fingers in the woodstove again. I also need a handsaw because I'm currently using a tiny craft saw to cut up kindling !!

Is it like the driving test where every 2 seconds they mark their scoring paper?? Oh my god every little pencil scratch I was like "oh god did I do the right thing" but honestly, I find the more we psych ourselves out, the more Okay it is in the end 😅

Doing my driving test this morning was the most anxious I've felt in over a year, like damn... I lived in such a nervous state for so long?? Prior to now? Helped my perspective. So funny though bc I went for an hour and a half drive by myself immediately afterwards and felt no anxiety at all
