I understand the reasoning behind zeroing in on ICE & DHS abducting citizens. But when you lead with what's perceived as your most sympathetic cases, you cede the moral high ground & make arguing for others harder. It is wrong for armed, masked gestapo to grab people - doesn't matter their status.

I cry all the time about being not being able to have any more babies (I chose sterilization). I consider it a decision made under duress
People having babies right now are braver than the troops. My kids are teens and I'm not sure what I'd do if I was facing the prospect of having to give birth and raise young children amid the dismantling of the medical system *and* the department of education *at the same time.*

Yes this is correct - a relatively small number of people are inherently prone to violence, it's not learned and conditioned behaviour but rather an innate feature of humanity which has existed across all societies, and we should indeed have the death penalty for these people

it’s unreasonable to expect one shitty lawyer’s words to portray an entire school of thought. I’m a survivor of SA & CSA. my experience w the carceral system pertaining to the domestic and sexual violence I’ve experienced in my life is part of what informs my abolitionist thinking
