Recently my employer told me I would not be moving to full-time, which means I am also not making the corresponding full-time salary.

I’m back on the job hunt - specifically work in games that is remote Canada (Saskatchewan) eligible. Either event management & production or game production.

There’s a group of older (white haired) folks at the table next to me and they’ve ordered a round of mimosas. One of them just said to the other “we should count how many drinks we have on this trip” and they all laughed. Gleeful.

I think what really pisses me off is you can say things like "Microsoft has laid off 9000 employees" and be technically correct

However, it's a lot more accurate to say "Phil Spencer is personally responsible for taking food out of the mouths of 9000 people and their immediate families."
