I've tried to avoid politics here as I can't stand it but political assassinations becoming common in the U.S. should scare everyone. If we've reached the point where we're more apt to pick up our guns than try and talk through our differences then we're in trouble.

Finding out that the FSU shooter was the son of a deputy and used one of her off-duty weapons in his assault means questions need to be asked of her. Was her gun secured? If it wasn't then I want her in the docks right next to her murderous kid.
