I do my part. I come in an hour early, and get a good chunk of the order put away, but I was getting burned out by reminding everyone else to do their part, so I stopped because it’s not my job and was giving me stress.

Good news. Team last night at work had good vibes and felt very synched up.

Bad news. Despite a message in the group dm and a big pile of boxes next to the door. No one put away the paper order and the service Captain got mad at everyone.

I suffer a lot from “I get mad at how I was treated and now it’s mutated into a big blob that festers and corrodes all my interpersonal relationships” and I started journaling this year and it really has helped me a lot

I’ve enjoyed a lot of reels and posts on Cosplay Contest Etiquette and how if you compete only to place, You’re Gonna Have A Bad Time. But the one I saw just had major “hey cosplayers! Gentle reminder! Wash your hands after pooping!!” vibes 😐

I think there’s a time and place for discussion (all cosplay contests I enter have a “please don’t be a sore looser/winner” rule). But I also have seen so many “older” (mid 20’s) cosplayers who have decided being a “cosplay mom” is their whole personality and it leads to a lot of patronizing.

Watching as Nepal threw their PM into a dumpster, meanwhile, everyone in the US agrees two weeks from now to show up on Saturday when they’re already off of work, to get a permit to march for a few hours outside an empty government building holding a sign that says “Trump is a Tr*nny”. Good job.
