Audience culture is the worst it's ever been, I swear to god. People forgot how to act. I'm at the theater, trying to enjoy my show, which I've paid GOOD MONEY for, and these two old assholes are in the balcony heckling the life out of the poor bear onstage. Not letting him finish a single joke.

Stranger Things makes a lot more sense in how bad it is when you realize the Duffner Brothers are my age. Meaning Stranger Things isn’t nostalgia for the 80’s, but 80’s movies they watched in the 90’s. It’s a copy of a copy of a copy. Diluted until it becomes a la croix

Why does every straight dude in Stranger Things have the same macho, needing to get over being overprotective character arc every single season, including the final season? Can we not, for the final season, just have everyone working together and respecting each other against the bad guy?

Finished Thanksgiving with Killers of the Flower Moon. Less frantic than some of Scorsese’s other works, it’s a sad macabre movie that feels rich and lived in with its well researched and highly detailed depiction of Osage culture of the 1920s.

Crashing out over my cosplay stuff. I’ve had a lot of friends leave the cosplay scene over the past few years and it’s hard to make new cosplay friends. I’m not conventionally attractive so it’s hard to establish myself, even with showing my skills as a crafter and educator.

I am 38-years old with a divorce, a degree, a mortgage, medicine to inject and intake regularly, a cat to feed, and an elder to take care of full time.
I literally do not have time for any of this buffoonery and I have learned to spot it a mile away.
