WIP - I always draw like I have a pencil in hand, my line weight differ of course but I convey volume only by doing double lines or basic hatching. that's why It takes me 4 hours to do the lineart for a simple piece.

Writers who use genAI for illustrations are class traitors. We all have to fight this beast TOGETHER. We are not just trying to save SOME of our livelihoods.
Self-published authors are unfortunately very rapidly becoming my most-blocked demographic on here due entirely to the rampant use of hideous AI generated book covers

Thank you Lo! For complex backgrounds i take advantage of Clip Studio Paint's 3D models :) As you can see, the 3D objects exist on a perspective grid, which you can snap your pen to. This means straight lines always lead to your vanishing points.
