Just saw this today. This is a transparent attempt to KILL DUE PROCESS by lying about the job of immigration judge and stacking the deck through hiring only bloodthirsty lawyers who want to deport people.

This comes after they pushed out over 100 judges deemed too likely to grant relief.
DOJ is now recruiting for immigration judges by calling them “deportation judges.”

That’s seems really bad.

At 63.6%, the share of Hispanics w/ a job remains relatively stable in 2025. In fact, the employment rate (ER) of prime-age Hispanics matched the peak (79.2%) reached in June. The ER for Latinas (59.1%) and Latinos (75.5%) edged up slightly in September. #EconSky #JobsDay

The Hispanic unemployment rate (UR) increased slightly to 5.5% in September. This is the 3rd consecutive increase since June. While the UR for Latinos fell slightly to 4.6%, the UR for Latinas climbed to 5.5%. The Latina UR was 1 p.p. lower (4.5%) in June. #EconSky #JobsDay

Even with the faster than expected growth in payroll employment for September, downward revisions for July and August meant that combined July+Aug job growth was 33k less than originally reported. Over the last three months, job growth averaged 62k with small losses in both June and August.

Highlights:
- payroll employment up 119k for Sept while August change was revised down to below zero
- unemployment rate ticked up 3 months in a row to 4.4%

ICE had made only 85 arrests in Washington from Jan. 20 through the end of July. But from early August until mid-September, ICE made around 1,200 arrests, according to officials with knowledge of the data.
