Profiteering by energy companies increases poverty, business costs and deindustrialisation of the UK.

High energy costs destroyed steel, shipbuilding, engineering and more.

Can't revive the economy without reducing the cost of essentials - public ownership, not-for-profits.

Economic growth? Forget it. youtu.be/dRfNWh_95MM?... Politicians in developed countries are still obsessed with growth without realising that growth is history. The question is, when will politics begin to reflect this new reality?

Good afternoon you lovely lot! It seems that dispatches have tried doing a hit piece on disabled people. I don't know how many times I have to say this, but benefits are not easy to claim, people don't get given free cars, and disabled people aren't the reason the economy is fucked!

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to those 20 warriors (who are working 24/7 to keep up with the incredible growth) for giving us a space to share.

We escaped hell to be here.

Started my Substack mostly out of fury if I’m honest, because I’d just finished my book about how politicians were destroying the NHS and still had so much to say.

It’s just passed 20,000 subscribers and I can’t really believe that. I’ll keep writing for as long as you’d like to keep reading x

Govt let off accountancy, architects & private equity firms. Partners taxed as self-employed.

They pay Class 4 NIC, lower rate than workers. Partners of just 4 law firms gained £4bn.

Enough to cancel two-child benefit cap, winter fuel payment cut.

Easier to hit the less well-off

Last night only THREE peers in the House of Lords called for public ownership of England's water industry.

That was me, Jenny Jones & Natalie Bennett (Green Party) out of a membership of 827.

Public ownership officially opposed by Labour, Tories and LibDems.

Most people want to end the scandal.
