So the nazis didn't "eat shit", they performed really well considering the circumstances. Especially if you look at the "Zweitstimmen" that determine the leading party of the local Bundesländer (the equivalent to countys). Almost all of the former Eastern Germany elected the AfD as the leading party

Sorry, but that's Tragödie not what happened. The AfD might not be a part of the ruling coalition, but they did better than ever in this term. And the CDU/CSU is a very conservative party with an anti-migrant and anti- feminist program. Here's the map of yesterday's election.

Ich sage zu meinem Vater, dass ich zu linkeren Positionen tendiere und erschrocken bin darüber, wie CDU und FDP die Wirtschaft nicht mehr checken.
Mein Vater hält natürlich dagegen und gibt an, dass das Problem sei, dass linke Politik immer nicht finanzierbare Luftschlösser seien.
