One of the loveliest things at @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social this year was how many creators told me they’d had people buying comics from them who said they were doing so because of one of our @brokenfrontier.bsky.social TB Month reviews. These are the moments that make all the hard work worthwhile.
We are also unknown in the UK, so huge thanks to @andywpoliver.bsky.social & @brokenfrontier.bsky.social for their amazing work in promoting comics before TB.
One guy bought a copy specifically thanks to their review cause, quoting: "They are never wrong".

I met him at UKCAC when I was very young.
He was very interesting and able to hold a conversation without once talking down to me.
That meant a lot to me as a kid.
Also, he was very annoyed at how delayed Maze Agency was, he had written a year ahead and the publisher kept putting off publication

Veteran comic writer and author Mike W. Barr, well known for his work on Batman and the Outsiders, Star Trek novels, his creator owned Camelot 3000 (with Brian Bolland), and much more, needs fans help.

2 x Chris Reynolds is a collection of Space Food, from 1990, where sci-fi and kitchen sink collide in an uneasy fashion, and 2005's The Animals' War, where time travel proves to be less of a blessing than first thought, and the landscapes are littered with dark warnings.

Restarting my thread of comics I have read but not necessarily for review here. (It ran for four and a half years at the hellsite!). First up DWELLINGS by Jay Stephens. The darkest of horror dressed in the innocent trappings of Harvey Comics and all the more unsettling for that.

Aside: Very few people saw the Hellion Cross comic with Fawn. I will most likely reprint that in Black Pudding Comics, if the project gets off the ground. Fawn in spaaaace!
