If you're worried there aren't any bands capable of combining the best of early Zappa, Fripp, fancy crunchy guitars, fantastical synths, powerful vocals, and killer drums with their own incredible talent, here's some relief - @d3lahoz.bsky.social

This bastion of moral virtue has opinions about the Green Party.

Just remember that as they continue to attack us.

This is who they are. Mask is off.

Have sorted out some images for Yo! Comics promo. Bit of a clash between what i've been recently and what the other Absolute Collider contributors have done.

In a very rare moment of positivity and enthusiasm I tried to make the first point on this week's to-do list "Absolutely Smash It" but when I looked back I'd written "Asblotuley smash it." which feels like an omen.

I'm getting quite close to having the next collection, 'Thin Places in Hard Concrete', prepped for publication. If you're one of those interesting small presses that sometimes publishes collections of weird fiction and you might be interested in publishing mine, do let me know.
Between them ‘Municipal Gothic’ and ‘Intervals of Darkness’ have 27 stories full of haunted buildings, haunted people, and working class weirdness. Obviously *I* think they're great – but so do strangers who owe me nothing!

Saw 'Iron Lung' last night. It reminded me a lot of Skinamarink? If Skinarmarink was trying to be Event Horizon? I liked it, but was baffled by it. And that' with familiarity with the game, bonded what someone coming in fresh would think.

To Breathe Space only has two more pages to go before I go back over the entire thing with white ink to tidy it up.

There's a reason the Events Page at Broken Frontier keeps grinding to a halt...

Hardly anyone tells us or sends press releases about their events and we just don't have the time to go looking for stuff on top of everything else.

Trying to refresh it once again but you have to let us know, folks!

I stayed out of the throwing bits of the audience but that's mostly because everyone there was SO YOUNG. I've never felt more like a 50yr old in my life...and I'm only 45!
Taking Bill to see Machine Girl tonight. We saw them last year and I got knocked onto the ground when a circle collapsed and then had to hunt on my hands and knees for my glasses. Wish me luck.

The other day I found a photo I'd taken of a note from an editors page in a comic to say that Sal Buscema would be off for a month becasue he was starring in his local amateur dramatics musical. I can't find it now, which is annoying.

Sal Buscema was a splendid character artist who (vitally; unexpectedly) found a swingin figure energy for spider-man in the 90s—bringing the rhythm back, to make a whole other domestic setup feel foundational—but it wasn’t just that—he was also such a fine panelsman. Snap ur fingers:
