According to the feedback, they are looking at using it for every Decision Day game as well. I've put up with a lot with this league, but really makes me question about going to games or subscribing to Season Pass next year.

This sucks. A lot.

I know from my own experience doing it— it is NOT expensive to pay humans to do this. I got invaluable development working there. As did countless others.

This sucks so hard.

MLS is using generative AI to write match recaps. Writers used to get paid freelance rates to do that. Hssssss.

It's funny watching how quickly the bird feeders empty once the birds learn that you are filling it up again. I try to fill once a week, and there's weeks where it's gone the first day.

I really wish people would stop using LLMs “as a goof” or “ironically.” Yes we know computer do silly things. Can we please not consume a gallon of fresh water and a household family’s worth of electricity for something that stopped being a novelty in 2022

Library purchases are purchases. They pay the press. The press counts them towards advances and royalties. And (gasp) the book is in a library!! It’s wonderful and no one should ever feel bad about getting a book through a library instead of buying it.

I got it from my local library system, which has 28 physical copies (more than half are checked out) and 4 audiobooks. The branch library is two blocks from my house so I get most of my books from there. Hope this helps because I loved the book - I'm not a historian and knew nothing of that period.
