It is said that if you look at this sad little Qrs screencap seven times, he will reappear in a future task.

Alex Horne, as Qrs Tuvwxyz, lies in the bed of the Taskmaster caravan, looking despondently out of the window. He's wearing a white flannel dressing gown and is next to a big, black and white, stuffed toy tiger. Alex does something with his face, voice and body language this whole episode that completely transforms him into Qrs and it's an outrage that they've never returned.

It was a lovely, sobering, friendly, and even fun night! The speakers were wonderful and so generous with their experiences, and the people organising things were just the nicest peeps. Special shout out to Lizzy the medic who was the best.

I went to a Professor Brian Cox show about this and, no joke, he had a support-act type co-presenter who would come on stage and do a few minutes here and there _to fend off the existential terror of the universe_. He'd talk about dogs and cute things. Otherwise, I guess, people would just cry???

I think it's agency. We have so little agency left to us in the world these days. Rented places where you can't decorate. No garden to sculpt. No shed to do your making in.

But the need to have agency on your surroundings is still so strong - to be able to say "I made that change." Even a bad one.
