I saw someone on my timeline shaming someone else for posting about college football in a time like this.

Folks, if we're going to survive a time like this, we're going to need to avoid burning out from an attitude of 24/7 vigilance and constant outrage.

Let people find joy where they can, please.

THIS IS INSANE. Let’s make this kid famous because the system isn’t going to protect women - so we must. This man will have to kill someone before the law takes action.

THIS is how we and the rest of the world must treat this disgusting MAGA infection.
Cut it off at the knees.
Don't let them treat every public appearance like a MAGA rally to spew their vile lies.

(The irony of Cuba calling him out is not lost on me.)

This is a fundamental difference between the two parties.

It's crazy how many times we have seen a MAGA voter change their tune or regret their vote, but only once a Trump policy hurts them directly.

Dachau began as a "work-conditioned housing" facility. Auschwitz began as a "work-conditioned housing" facility. Majdanek began as a "work-conditioned housing" facility.
Utah has just approved a 1,300-person “mega camp” for homeless individuals,This camp lacks transportation, features locked units, and even imposes forced labor.

They refer to this facility as “work-conditioned housing,” but we simply call it what it is: modern-day internment.

Not enough noise is being made about this. The final sentence in the article sums it up perfectly. But since cooler heads have not prevailed something needs to be done. This man cannot sit in jail until December.
In the wake of Charlie Kirk's death, a TN sheriff had a 61-yr-old man arrested for posting a meme on Facebook, which the sheriff absurdly construed as a threat. It was pretty clearly bullshit but I dug into the case using FB & public records and now it looks even worse. My latest @theintercept.com:
The Absurd Prosecution of a Man Who Posted a Charlie Kirk Meme
Larry Bushart Jr. posted trolling memes on a Facebook thread about a vigil for Kirk. He’s been in a Tennessee jail ever since.
