So we did Thunder Mountain, Crush and Flight Force today (ducked out of tower of terror because I cannot do drop rides) and gotta say, loved all three but Flight force hits it out of the park. Super fast without being too scary.

It’s been over forty years since I’ve been in France and coorrrrr they really didn’t go halves in anything did they? Big tower, big arc, big palaces, big cathedrals. They’re like if Australia invested in big things that weren’t fruit.

As a family we’ve done snow before but it’s always been a trip to a place with snow (up a mountain at a ski place etc). It’s so different when you’re actually in a town, even if it is a tourist town.

I’m at Brunni in Engelberg at the bistro while my kids and husband hurl themselves down a snowy slope. I am minding the bags. There’s a guy sitting at my table who is obviously doing the same for another family. He has a scotch, I have a wine. I feel comfortable and known.
