Friday morning, a radio host talked about going to an event sick & said he probably infected others & that some people may have died, without shame or apology. People know what they’re doing when they don’t mask. They know the consequences. And they simply don’t give a f*ck.

It’d be great if you wouldn’t help them by extending the benefit of the doubt, following dubious health advice, treating their side as “reasonable concerns”, and particularly and especially refusing to get vaccinated, wear masks, and clean the air.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Hadeel. Before the war Hadeel’s husband was a fisherman and they tried for 11 years before they had their first child Hani who is 10 now they also have a daughter Dana, 6 and little Adam who is just 2. They’re displaced and struggling.

The last three books I’ve read have had pretty horrible fatphobia in them. One is a book beloved by many that was recommended to me. And no matter how good the rest of the book is, the fatphobia ruins it for me. More authors moved to my do-not-read list.
