I knew my mom was gone, but she is losing it because I called that man who was shot "divisive and hateful". All liberals hate Christians is her new thing to yell in my general direction. Looks like it is 100% no contact and leaving her to her echo chamber that has rotted her brain since the 90s.

An independent restaurant I worked at actually closed for Sundays because of these people. We decided to do so one hour before Sunday lunch service. Put a note on the door, went to the bar, drank beer, watched football, and listened to them shriek at the door to be let in. It was glorious.
Sorry food workers just know I've been there. I feel for you.

Went out to my car this morning to find that overnight, someone had tried to steal it. For reference, this car is 14 years old and not in the best shape. Let me tell you, trying to get a police report is more frustrating than finding out what someone tried to steal my car.

Here is a piece of personal lore: my mom once took me to a woman to cast out my demons when I was in 7th grade. Turns out it was just anxiety caused by being raised in a James Dobson-following evangelical home. My childhood was so fucked up because that man influenced my mom.

We helped our old boy across the rainbow bridge at 9 am this morning and our other dog decided to injure her face so we are now back at the same vet hospital. August is going great.
