I knew it was probably going to happen but I still wasn’t prepared for it. 🥲

sat on my deck in the direct sunlight for 15 minutes and recharged myself like a little lizard under a heat lamp. 10/10 recommend.

Their shuttle broke apart and now doesn't work on the planet that will basically kill them all. So that's. Cool. Every single one of my favs is in that group.

what the heck, I'm sorry 😔

This last time they scanned my expired passport and let me through, and I was thinking, "right, because that's safe." (sorry for the multiple replies, tsa is just really testing me lately when I travel for shows. lol)

until a supervisor is brought over. Then they ask me if I have another form of ID. Which is my expired passport, because my current is being renewed. I don't understand this sudden shift of them not being able to look at IDs is coming from, but it's so frustrating.

I've been having an issue ever since they started scanning IDs and not looking at them. I still allow for the facial scan, but it's my non driver state ID, I've been told that the pixel ratio is off between IDs. So I have to tell them multiple times to /look at it./ and they often refuse

I'm so sorry you were made to feel that way, it's horrible. But we're aren't alone! <3

Anyway, my mother is mad at me because she dug out my grandmother’s beef bourguignon recipe, and I already had one I found online, because I knew I wouldn’t be able to read my grandmother’s.

I can make out some of it, but for some older generation’s hand writing I literally have no idea what they have written. For me it’s like one long continuous line where I can’t differentiate the letters, which is how I taught myself to read.

Every time a relative or someone gives me a hand written recipe in cursive I smile and say thank you instead of saying ‘I can’t read this’ because it starts the ‘how do you not know how to read cursive’ in that tone that makes you feel like you’re stupid. When in fact it’s my dyslexia.
