I was pondering yesterday what type of new year's resolutions ppl actually make that they fall flat so quickly.

don't get me wrong, I'm not really a fan of them either (and rarely spell them out like that) but I think there are things that work and things that don't and this year actually feels --

Thinking about how bsky has the most horrible setting turned on by default that says "i don't want to see any other languages except English" and if no one tells you to put it on "no selection" you straight up won't see posts from people set to different languages on your TL.

Fighter/Bard checking in. There are many ways to help even if it isn't always direct.
Welcome to Protesting! Choose your class: Fighter: March in demonstrations. Paladin: Put your body between the vulnerable and cops. Rogue: Recording cops and flood snitch lines with false reports/kpop facecams/etc. Cleric: Provide medical support and supplies to protestors. Bard: Spread the word and help members of the other classes keep up their spirits and mental health. Artificer: Provide food and needed supplies to communities targeted by police and agitators. Wizard: Use your technical skills/platform to help keep lines of communication going and inform people. Sorcerer: Keep your allies strong by donating money and/or time to bail funds, protest organizations, etc.

Don't buy into the myth that "accessibility is only about adding alternative text to images." Alt text is important, of course. But there is so much more to accessibility, including headline structure, functional controls, color contrast, link text, plain language, and more.
