i just finished the bad batch arc of the final season of clone wars, so i only have the final arc to go, and it's just incredible to me how fundamentally more important to the fabric of the ongoing narrative to star wars that show is when compared to the prequel movies themselves

it just has literally everything the actual prequel movies lack: drama, emotional conflict and stakes, characterisation and emotional growth and change, action, adventure, sweeping romance, heartbreak, fucking... Story.

i personally think that the perpetual content machine that gw has turned itself into pretty much sucks front to back, but the way the community treats whatever new thing just got released/announced as the Only thing happening in warhammer is uh
