Last November Farage told Sky News:

“I’ve just exchanged contracts on the house that I’ll be living there in – is that good enough?… *I’ve bought a house in Clacton* What more do you want me to do?”

Oh, I dunno Nigel.

Tell the truth?

Nigel Farage admits he was wrong to say he had bought house in Clacton
Reform UK leader says he should not have claimed he was buyer of property that was really bought by his partner

You know the words they say, you know what those words mean and you know what this means for people affected by those words. You still vote for them, the you’re a racist. Not ‘everyone gets called racist these days’ racist. Just a racist. It was racist then. It’s racist now. Shame on you.

President Trump, "Now drug prices are going to be going down 100%, 400%, 600%, 1,000% in some cases"

An illiterate President who can't do high school maths surrounded by yes men who haven't the courage or integrity to help him understand how stupid he sounds

This is hate speech. She says it openly. Why are their no legal actions to deal with the "stupid" who speak it?

White, her employer, Lowe, & others should be forced off airwaves, & civil & criminal laws applied against them.

Utterly sick of these idiots.

Lowe has envisaged "entire communities" of Pakistanis being deported from Britain - deploying an I bet they all knew trope - for a "send them all back" politics

The answer is no, Tom - people living* on the state pensions do not have it any “easier”, and pitting working young people against retired people is ludicrous and counterproductive.

*Living is not the term I would use for trying to get by on maximum £230.25 per week.
66 'I lived off the state pension for a week - and was forced to drink water at the pub' Young workers are buckling under the weight of Reeves's tax burden. But do pensioners have it any easier?

I hope I won't be arrested for asking this question.

If we have peace in Gaza, and there are no hostages, and the UK recognises a Palestinian state, and we all support free speech ... will it still be illegal to use your free speech to ask for action for Palestine?

🇪🇺 Brexit reset: tokenistic pockets of sanity that do nothing to fix systemic barriers.

🇬🇧 Chemical exports ⤵️35-40%, goods exports ⤵️ 27%

🇪🇺 61% Brexit as failure; only 13% success.

🇬🇧 We need cross-party forum to begin formal re-association with the EU and to prepare political ground for reentry.

I hate that this is what the US has become, but thank god for every day heroes who step up to protect one another.

A neighbour in Chicago hid a mother and her 7 year old child for three days so they wouldn’t get kidnapped in the south side apartment raid.

During a military-style raid on a building in Chicago’s South Shore, one resident heard a knock on his door.

It wasn’t the feds —  it was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for help.

He let them hide in his unit for the next 3 days.

Not satisfied with destroying US soybean farming, Trump's now going to ruin Boeing by blocking their pending deal with China to sell them 500 airplanes while simultaneously handing the EU and Airbus a huge boost. So much winning America!

US farmers are sadly done. A bailout will only cover their debt, about 45% will go out of business by next harvest season. Brazil will end up taking all our grain exports and a huge chunk of beef because Brazil doesn’t charge a tariff to China. Brazil’s economy has benefited greatly from this.

They’re still offering new ICE recruits a $50,000 signing bonus, yet active duty military were seen today lining up at food banks.

ICE agents shot and killed a dog in an El Paso home.

The owner was complying with their request to search. He simply asked permission to secure the dog first.

ICE entered anyways and murdered the dog.

They refused to give names or badge numbers.

Given Noem’s history this is ghastly.

15 years of obsessing about immigration at last called out. A breath of fresh air through the received notions of Question Time. Almost like getting the decent Country we once were back for a second. Air in a fetid room . #bbcqt

Yes. A huge chunk of people think this stuff. They just need permission to express it. Attitudes surveys show that the vast majority are very far from being Mr. Farage's imaginary silent majority.

I'm not particularly a Polanski fan, but just getting right to the point is really very straightforward, instead of all the queasy obsequiousness, and it's a blessed relief to see it
