When I post about RFK Jr. undermining vaccines, I’m noticing more and more comments saying things like “I am glad my state is part of a coalition that is not listening to him”.

That’s great, but I ask you to bear in mind the following:

Tune in today (Wed) if you want to hear me talk about denaturalization on NPR 10-11am EST. I will likely begin speaking around 10:20am, but these things are always in flux. www.npr.org/podcasts/510...

What foods should you eat during flu season?

OMG!

Get your flu vaccine, wear a N95 in high risk situations and clean your air because food doesn’t protect you against a virus.

If women are underrepresented in STEM, it's at least partly because men like this offer mentoring, then embarrass themselves by assuming their mentees must be into them, then decide the best solution is to cut ties, which sends the signal to other faculty that the mentee must not be good enough.
The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.

For years now, I've said our official health policy would eventually look like "The Secret," a book that literally advises everyone to wish away illness and abandon their friends who "don't want to get better."

We're pretty much there.

Imagine thinking domestic violence isn’t “really serious”
Q: This has been reported for a while. Cory Mills was accused of beating a girlfriend in his DC apt. Are you concerned about these allegations?

JOHNSON: You have to ask Rep. Mills about that. He's been a faithful colleague. I don't know the details. Let's talk about things that are really serious

i love to imagine this logic applied to other mitigation tools—trembling at a seatbelt, cowering from a helmet, freezing at the sight of a condom—easy to reveal how laughable a take the idea of masking as an act of fear is.
I’m very very tired of “living in fear” being lobbed at maskwearers by people who frequently say they can’t wear one because no one else around them is.

Living in fear is ignoring science and endangering lives and your own health because you’re terrified of not fitting in.

Federal agents reporting to Secretary Noem have spent weeks snatching up families, scaring law-abiding residents, violating due process rights, and even detaining U.S. citizens.

They fail to focus on violent criminals and instead create panic in our communities.
