Personally, I'm not going to tell you as a player what you should or shouldn't be doing. If I know that you're doing a thing badly or sub-optimally, I'm not going to say a word unless you ask. Otherwise, my first instinct is to mitigate your impact as if your PC isn't mechanically important. #TTRPG

One of the reasons I don't regularly queue up with PUGs in MMOs comes down to a core principle of not vibing with people who frequently give unsolicited advice to other players. If you can heal better, why aren't YOU healing?

It happens in #TTRPG tables as much as it does in MMOS. Maybe more.

2) Can the players meaningfully interact with this

You'd be surprised at how many GMs, even "veteran" ones, will just completely ignore the 2nd in service of the 1st. #TTRPG

Do you make the map first, or perhaps you work with npcs?

My personal preference is in what the villian or threat is as I think that informs everything else
