The strange thing about media literacy is that, after enough exposure to a creator, you start to recognize their influence and it's not always a good thing. It's only made worse if they have an ego and an echo chamber...

Instead of just saying "roll for initiative", say that we're *abiout to* roll for initiative.
It gives players a chance to do any number of pre-combat things without everyone feeling like they HAVE to rush to get something in before the rolling starts. #TTRPG
