The lack of dynamism is not in the laws/regulations. The US has in total a higher count of industry standard than Germany and the EU combined. The lack of dynamism lies with the workforce/population. 1/2
Europeans and Americans both really bemoan the deindustrialization of Europe but the growing uncompetitiveness of German industry combined with a desperate, expensive attempt to keep it alive, is a real dying old world/refusal for new world to be born/morbid symptoms moment.

Ich begleite aktuell eine Einführungsveranstaltung für Programmierung für Erstsemester. Die Dozenten (inkl. mir) haben dieses Semester sich nochmal extra Mühe gegeben, den Studierenden Übungsaufgaben für das Programmieren zu Hause zu geben. Turns out: fast keine_r macht diese Aufgaben.
Mit fest eingeplanten 10 x 3 Stunden ohne Ablenkung würde das Schreiben von Hausarbeiten für Studierende ein viel produktiverer und entspannterer Prozess werden als es jetzt - flexibel von zuhause - der Fall ist.
Vermutlich würde ich auch deutlich weniger Bitten um Fristverlängerung erhalten.

Ich hatte gestern zum x-ten Mal diese "Aber auf dem Land gibt es keinen guten ÖPNV"-Thematik und es frustriert mich zunehmend. Der ÖPNV ist auf dem Land schlechter, weil die Leute auf dem Land Politiker wählen, die keinen guten ÖPNV wollen.

Die noch in Verhandlungen steckende niederländische Regierung plant unter anderem eine recht massive Umverteilung von Alt nach Jung. Wäre spannend zu sehen, ob das klappt.

Ich hatte schon während der Ampel-Jahre das Gefühl, dass die Unbeliebtheit von Robert Habeck sowohl von seinen Gegnern, aber auch von einigen seiner Fans medial und öffentlich überbewertet/überschätzt wurde. Wenn ich mir diese Zahlen anschaue, fühle ich mich durchaus bestätigt.
