I think they underestimate small towns. Might be less people, but they know their town and residents and can coordinate resistance as well as, if not better than, the big cities.

Same, I went to a traditional girls school and it always annoyed me that we didn't get to do woodwork etc. So, off to woodwork night classes I went for a couple of terms, it was great fun and I'm still using the TV table I made!

It looks like a nice venue, there are some Welcomes when you arrive and the excellent kai involves a pause for people to invite you to have a break from the talking to come and eat. At the end of the day they'll farewell you. Does that take the "scary" out of it for him?
