If I had a 400 seat majority in the UK parliament I would not use it to do fascism. I would use it to actually help the British people by regaining control of Tomb Raider.

[uniformed man removing a vulnerable persons’ jewellery]

“I’m sorry, we have to do this to avoid fascism.”
Govt minister Alex Norris is asked if the govt will take jewellery from people [fleeing war and persecution]. Norris says the govt won't be taking peoples wedding rings but they will seize assets.

With these Epstein emails, the noncing and eugenics are not as surprising as the poor spelling, punctuation, and grammar. These guys are evil? Sure. AND illiterate?

Bond canon is like the X-Men comics. Started in the 1960s and continues to the present day but everything is happening in a relative "Now" in a weird stretchy timeline. But also all of the events of the non-Craig Bond films from Dr No to Die Another Day happen between Spectre and No Time To Die.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

the biker bar sequence from Terminator 2 but Arnie’s POV keeps getting everything confidently wrong. A biker is “Volvo Estate”.
A knife is “Old Lady”.

after every protest march there’s a load of surprised posts about how the media ignored the march. the media are never bothered (unless they’re trying to smear people). marches are the permitted form of protest because they usually have no impact on those in power.
