You have to feel for Jacob Kiplimo here, he was just running as fast as he could, he couldn't help where the car was driving. (His world record has been invalidated because he was running too close to the lead car.) runningmagazine.ca/the-scene/wo...

The UK Government’s decision to include Berwick Bank in the Contracts for Difference scheme is a disaster for Scotland’s seabirds.

Killing tens of thousands of these incredible birds isn’t just reckless, it could push many species towards extinction.

A look at the current state of cross-country running and where it might go in the future (including some major events potentially coming to Britain...).

Sessions for Tuesday Jan 6th: well... the set track session is 2 x 1600m + 8x400m, but #finsburyparktrack does tend to hold ice on the home straight, so we may be looking at alternatives. Hill reps from Finsbury Park gate or tempo: 3 x 10mins. #running

I’ve dreamt about a swift brick win & front pages of newspapers but this is a nightmare. It’s not a win. This is a meaningless policy with no legal requirement, no enforcement & no transparency inviting housebuilders who’ve bragged about blocking swift bricks to do it themselves

Let's get one thing straight.

What's REALLY putting jobs at risk is owners of the big fishing boats insisting on being allowed to continue hoovering up tons of wild animals way faster than they can reproduce, using ecosystem-killing methods.

*Nobody* else is to blame.

This Government once vowed to be “the most nature-positive [we have] ever had”.

Months of blaming wildlife and stripping back protections have already made a mockery of that promise.

And if the rumoured cuts to BNG go ahead, it will deal yet another devastating blow to nature.

A win for Swifts!

Thanks to your support, Scotland might become the first UK country to require Swift nesting bricks in all new buildings.

Today MSPs voted to include this in the Natural Environment Bill – now we must make sure it stays in the Bill through the final stage.
